In January, after eight years, 200 games, one league title and three Uzbek cups with Nasaf, Nasrullaev made his first transfer, moving to Tashkent to join Pakhtakor. “This team has helped me grow not only as a player but as a person,” he said. “Every day, every training session, and every game I played for Nasaf will remain an unforgettable memory in my heart. This club’s colours have become part of my life.” None of this would have seemed likely when he was released from their youth system in 2016, at the age of 17, forcing him to drop into the amateur third division. Two years later he was invited back again. Under their tutelage Nasrullaev became a speedy full-back who contributes to attacks and can create dangerous chances with crosses: in 147 league games with Nasaf he scored 10 times and claimed 25 assists, impressive numbers for a defender.
