Odiljon Khamrobekov #9
MID · Tractor · Irreplaceable · Uzbekistan
Profile
An irreplaceable player at the core of the national team: Khamrobekov played all but 16 minutes of Uzbekistan’s 14-game qualifying campaign, and is a guaranteed starter when fit. He also played for his country at various youth levels and in several World Cups and Asian Championships, winning the player of the tournament award at the 2018 Under-23 Asian Championships in China. "That tournament was very memorable, the final was held in heavy snow. It's unforgettable,” he said. He started his career at Nasaf, but after moving to Pakhtakor in 2019 won five successive league titles, a particularly impressive achievement given that in the middle of that run he snuck in half a season with Shabab al-Ahli in the UAE and won a cup there too. In 2025 he moved to Tractor in Iran, where he promptly won another league title. He is considered the engine at the heart of the Uzbekistan national team, and is a master at anticipating and ending opponent attacks. He works extremely hard for the team but he has not always been appreciated by fans.
