They call him ‘The Tank’ and he works tirelessly down the wing. He is strong, fast and skillful for such a physical player. He traces his raw power back to his roots in Rize and his father’s trade. "My father was a butcher," he once said. "I grew up eating a lot of meat because of him; and I believe that is where my strength comes from." He may lack the finesse of some of the more technical players in the team, and that can frustrate fans at times, but at his best he is pretty much unplayable. Along with Yildiz he adds physicality to a side that has lacked in this department in the past.
