Rayan Elloumi #18

FWD · Vancouver · Teenage sensation · Tunisia

Profile

The youngest player in Tunisia’s 26-man squad, the 18-year-old forward has played for two different nations in 2026. Born in Edmonton, Elloumi chose to represent Tunisia at Under-23 level last October, but featured for Canada in a B-level friendly against Guatemala in January, and informed the Tunisian football federation that he was considering switching his allegiance to the World Cup co-hosts. The response was immediate, with Lamouchi calling him up straight away for a March training camp. Elloumi played for 60 minutes against Haiti, then 30 minutes against Canada, before taking his place in Tunisia’s World Cup squad. Plucked from the local youth leagues by the Vancouver Whitecaps, he became their first homegrown player to score on his home MLS debut, netting in a 7-0 rout of Philadelphia Union.
