Dylan Bronn #6
DEF · Servette · Important squad member · Tunisia
Profile
One of only two players in the squad set to participate in their third World Cup, Bronn is one of the veterans of this Tunisian team. The 30-year-old centre-back, who has barely played for his club in Switzerland since January, was not guaranteed a place in the final squad. Asked about Bronn’s limited playing time, the Tunisia head coach, Sabri Lamouchi, explained: “Dylan has an important influence within the group. I personally asked his coach at Servette not to play him after his return from injury.” First capped in 2017, Bronn – who was born in Cannes to a German father and Tunisian mother – played at right-back against England at the 2018 World Cup, and also scored a header in the 5-2 defeat to Belgium.
