Sultan Mandash #20
FWD · Al-Hilal · Surprise call-up · Saudi Arabia
Profile
A late bolter for the squad and, possibly, the starting XI. That may sound strange for a 31-year-old who from his international debut in 2019 until 2025, had made just three appearances. The right winger likes to play high up the pitch and use his speed to make things happen and caught the eye after three goals in the last four games of the season for Al-Hilal, especially given Georgios Donis is in charge of a team with attacking issues. Mandash came off the bench in May’s friendly against Ecuador and scored in a 2-1 defeat. The 31-year-old is sure to play some part this summer, either starting or off the bench when goals are needed.
