Will be one of the fittest players at the World Cup, never stops running and is a more than competent link between defence and midfield. Came up through the youth ranks at Al-Ahli and has stayed there ever since, helping the club to the Asian Champions League in 2025. There was interest from Al-Nassr in 2025 with their coach, Luís Castro, a fan of the midfielder’s vision and leadership qualities on the pitch, but Al-Ahli decided that his partnership with Franck Kessié was too valuable to break up.
