Had an interesting start to his career with spells in France, Spain and Belgium before coming to the Qatar Stars League. The midfielder has been compared to N’Golo Kante with his tireless running and ability to read the game. Has been in and out of the team but he did play a significant part in qualification, including every minute of the two play-off games that finally sealed the deal for the Maroons. “He did everything I asked of him, especially when the tension in the stadium was high with so much on the line,” said the Qatar coach, Julen Lopetegui. “It was an impressive performance.”
