A late addition to the team with Julen Lopetegui handing the youngster his international debut in October 2025, throwing him into the mix for the latter stages of qualification. Bringing some much-needed youth into the squad, he has continued to feature since and could be in line for a starting spot. It is a just reward for a fine domestic season for Al-Gharafa where he was named the best Under-23 player in the Qatar Stars League in May. Brings physicality to the right-back position, though has played both at centre-back and in defensive midfield for his club.
