Born in Kansas, USA, Abualnadi played youth football in America before being picked up by the Jordan Football Association. “Having been with Sporting Kansas City academy, trained with the first team and played with the second I took a bit of a different route to others as I ended up going to university,” he told the #TAGpodcast. “University was super important to me. I got into Notre Dame and then I transferred to Pittsburgh, top universities and very difficult to get into.” With both his parents being from Jordan, he speaks Arabic, and went on to represent the Olympic team and then the senior national team. At club level, he featured for Al-Hussein before moving abroad to Malaysia, where he now plays for Selangor. Stands out for his composure and confidence despite limited international experience while his calm presence at the back and ability to read the game have quickly earned him recognition within the national team setup.
