A player with a high football IQ, defined by a tireless work rate and sharp reading of the game. Since moving to England with Palace from Lazio in 2024 Kamada has again proven his tactical flexibility, capable of operating both as an attacking midfielder and in a deeper role. His focus has always been on his work ethic, including in the pre-season periods, which he once called “more like hardship than training, and no one trains as much as I do”. He brings a wealth of experience to the national side, having played in the top divisions in Japan, Germany, Italy, Belgium and England, and he helped Palace win the FA Cup in his first season.
