He would have been called Jordan Pigford but his dad, Lee, changed the family name because he was tired of being called Piggy at school. Pickford says that if he wasn’t a footballer, he’d be in motocross. “I grew up watching it. We would stay in motorhomes and caravans at the racetrack as kids and it was mint. It gives me proper adrenaline, and it is one of the things I love.”
