A balanced and intelligent midfielder, Alcívar has become a key figure at Independiente del Valle as a central pivot and organiser. Born in Manta, he stands out for his defensive solidity, clean ball distribution, tactical discipline, and versatility across the line. Developed at LDU Quito, where he was known by the nickname “La Bochorna 44” (“We played Free Fire [a shooter game] online and I needed a nickname. I chose that one and they’ve been calling me that ever since”), he gained international exposure with Charlotte FC in MLS before returning to Ecuador in 2023, where he has since lifted major trophies, including the 2025 Serie A and Copa Ecuador. A full international since 2021.
