“I prefer the real life,” the 22-year-old Inter midfielder recently said when asked why he doesn’t use any social media. Growing up on a farm, he said he always loved being outdoors. “I had a very happy childhood and liked that lifestyle. I’d help my family milk cows and that was fun.” When Sucic made his debut for Dinamo less than three years ago, he was a little known outsider who played for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s youth teams and no one expected much from him. But within a year he had not only established himself in the first team but also switched to representing Croatia and was called up for the senior squad. At the end of the following season, he was sold to Inter and is now a starter for both club and country, where he is seen as a successor to the iron-lunged Marcelo Brozovic.
