Inao Oulaï was bullish after being handed his first senior call-up aged 19 last November. “If I manage to set foot on the pitch, I think the Ivorians will remember my name because I’m not going to think much about it: I’m just going to throw myself into it,” he said. This sums up exactly what Inao brings to the national team: risk-taking, energy and, most of all, not a care in the world. The midfielder is the face of the next generation of Côte d’Ivoire footballers and went to his first major tournament at Afcon in January.
