Profile

Ndicka had his pick of three national teams at the start of his career. Born in France to a Cameroonian father and an Ivorian mother, he eventually chose to represent Côte d’Ivoire in 2023 after playing for France all the way from Under-15 to Under-23 level. After making his first steps in football in the Parisian suburbs, the defender signed for Auxerre at 19. Reliable and reserved, on and off the pitch, Ndicka is a born leader. Known as the ‘minister of defence’, he has brought solidity to the Côte d’Ivoire backline thanks to his consistency. The only left-footed centre-back in the Ivorian squad is attracting interest from big clubs and will be in the shop window in North America this summer.
