The youngest player selected in Australia’s World Cup squad at 18, Herrington has already tested himself against several of the game’s greats during his fledgling career - since signing for Colorado in MLS, he has counted the likes of Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul, Thomas Müller and Son Heung-min as opponents. Herrington started his career at Brisbane Roar, where he was crowned their young player of the year after an impressive debut season.
