The Eredivisie giants have a long history of providing a home for Australian internationals and Bos has used the added advantage of Dutch heritage to not only settle quickly but make a stunning start to life in the Netherlands. Bos lifts the intensity of those around him with his pace and tireless running, and loves getting high up the pitch, overlapping relentlessly and delivering early crosses into the box. Despite his light frame the 23-year-old is prepared to get stuck into a tackle though his lack of defensive awareness can cost him at times. But with his high energy and enthusiasm just what Popovic expects from his players, Bos could spend time on a wing where his better traits are more effective.
