Anis Hadj Moussa #11
FWD · Feyenoord · Dribbling king · Algeria
Profile
The most exciting dribbler in the side, and that isn’t an easy title to claim. A Paris native, Hadj Moussa joined Feyenoord in 2024 and has made a huge impact, becoming vice-captain and one of the Eredivisie’s most outstanding talents, regularly leading the dribbling rankings and, under Robin van Persie, hugely improving his end product. “It’s interesting to see how he is developing,” the former Arsenal striker said recently. “I don’t think he’ll take Riyad Mahrez’s place for Algeria because he’s a tremendous player, but Mahrez has hinted that he’ll retire after the World Cup, which would free up the spot for Hadj Moussa.” While Van Persie is probably right that Mahrez stays ahead in the pecking order, Hadj Moussa is still expected to play significant minutes, often coming on when Mahrez’s ageing legs begin to fade around the hour mark. He is another player linked with a possible move to England this summer.
